From London With Love

So, it’s been a crazy few weeks in the life of the Miscreant! Hope you all are well — miss so many of my miscreants back in the States. But we’re throwing it into full gear here in London. Time to get a move on! Let’s do some updates:

First off, Miscreant Records has officially release Dumb Talk’s self-titled, debut record on vinyl. So honored to be a part of this project. I had an amazing time at the record release show, which the boys played with several amazing bands including the Babies. We had a smashing time, and it was such a joy to be able to drive out there. Definitely worth the road trip from Indiana. You can get the record on their Bandcamp for now, and it’ll soon be available on Miscreant Records’ site, as well.

Secondly, as mentioned earlier, the Miscreant is officially a resident of London! I’ll be hanging around Camden on the reg, so if any of you British Miscreants want to hang out and go record shopping, let me know. Also, I’ll have Dumb Talk records in tow soon, so if you want to get those from me, just shoot me an email.

Speaking of which, we’ll be putting out the first London edition of the Miscreant this week. And we need submissions!!! So email you narratives, reviews, essays, anything to do with music to by Tuesday or Wednesday. Attach any artwork, and please holler with any questions. Very excited to have Magic Milk on the cover of this bad boy.

One final announcement for now: WERW has announced it’s fall concert! Dum Dum Girls will be coming to ‘Cuse in October and will be playing with Math The Band and DUMB TALK!!! So, go get your tickets in the Schine Box Office and have a joyous time. And take lots of pictures so I can live vicariously through you.

Miss you all very much. Be well!
