Miscreant Records’ YouTube channel now features the Sad Kids Club, a video series that documents fellow miscreants describing their favorite musicians.
Throughout the first 20 episodes of the SKC, our friends have discussed artists like Roy Orbison, LCD Soundsystem, and Panic! At The Disco, among others. Although every episode of the SKC focuses on a new artist, each story illustrates the impact that music has on our lives. Whether it’s Sam discovering Bruce Springsteen as a kid watching Sesame Street, Ricky’s high school experience being characterized by the Strokes, or Ra Ra Riot’s The Rhumb Line helping Cassandra adjust to life in Syracuse, it’s clear that certain artists have the ability to define different periods of our lives and influence the way we transition from one stage to another.
