On My Loveseat

Dean came to visit me last week. He picked up 75 copies of the QUARTERBACK’s full-length album on cassette, which was officially released on Miscreant Records earlier this month. Before he left, we made sure to take a couple of timer pictures (family portrait style). This is my favorite of the bunch. Look how cute we are.

Dean’s photography skills aside, this photo represents a real landmark in Miscreant Record’s life. This is the third release on the label, and the first one being pushed via a band’s tour. Check below, or on any one of our show pages, to see when and where you can snag one of these bad boys. They’ll also be available on the Miscreant Records Bandcamp very soon (finally working in the official sense).

At any rate, when Dean first emailed me about working together on their album I knew immediately that this would be the start of something new and exciting. It was made readily apparent that Dean had the miscreant attitude, and was ready to really push these tapes to his fans. The guys worked hard on polishing their live show, set up a tour around the country, and put together a helluva album. Because of this, I’m so honored to be a part of this project. I cannot wait to see what comes next from these guys!

Be sure to check out issue 22 of the Miscreant ‘zine to see an interview with the band, and look to QUARTERBACKS’ site to order the album now!
